About this Tangier Island Bed and Breakfast

Shirley's Bay View Inn Bed and Breakfast is the "homeplace" of Wallace Pruitt. He and his wife, Shirley, began operating the Bav View Inn and since sold it in 2004.

The location has now grown into a complex of beautiful manicured topiary grounds and a series of cottages, swings, hammocks, a double decker Gazebo, and an array of outdoor furnishing made especially for the comfort of the Inn Guests.

This Tangier Island Bed and Breakfast overlooks the Chesapeake Bay.

Accommodations and lodging are available in the Main House of this Tangier Island Bed and Breakfast. Also ten private outdoor cottages are available.
One cottage is specifically designed for the family in mind. The Family Cottage consists of one double bed, a twin, and two bunk beds; children love it.
All cottages have a porch for sitting and relaxing. The Inn is located on the west side of the island overlooking the Chesapeake Bay.
Considering a small wedding on Tangier Island or your honeymoon, contact us for accommodations.

Breakfast is served and garnished with a touch of true Chesapeake Bay hospitality. Times vary depending on number of guests and boat departures from Tangie Island. Coffee always served at 7:00 AM

About your Bed and Breakfast Proprietor and Inkeeper, Beki Parker

"Beki Parker traveled to Tangier Island for the day and fell in love with the island. She "got her toes stuck in the mud" and purchased the Inn.

By profession, Beki is a physical therapist. She has enjoying her role as the proprietors of the Bay View Inn.

About your Hosts, Frank and Gwen Goodrich

Frank and Gwen have been involved in the tourism profession for many years, retiring and since finding that they were drawn to the island of Tangier and to the Bay View Inn. They've been on the island for over a year now and have enjoyed their roll as Hosts of the Bay View Inn. They are looking forward to enjoying many more years on the island.
