"Bette B", daughter of Hilda Crockett, operated Hilda Crockett's Cheapeake House Restaurant on Tangier Island from 1974 thru October 2002.  Under new ownership -- Spring of 2003, Denny and Glenna Crockett continued Hilda Crockett's tradiiton of providing a friendly atmosphere and great meals to all those who come to the Chesapeake House during their visit to Tangier Island mid April to mid October of each year, the Chesapeake House serves family style foods in a "family style" atmosphere.  There are three dining rooms that seats up to 200 persons. Breakfast is served daily at $7.00 per person. These "all you can eat" breakfasts and lunches/dinners are delicious.  If you leave hungry, it will be your fault, not ours. There is one set price for each lunch or dinner meal - $19.00 per person.  Groups of 20 persons or more, the rate is discounted to $17.00 per person...........

Breakfast - 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM
Lunch/Dinner:  11:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Last Seating:  5:00 PM
Adults:  $19.00
Children: 6 to 12:  $10.00
Children: 5 and under:  $5.00

Breakfast is served: Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Virginia Ham, Chesapeake Style Fried Potatoes, and Home-made Fried Bread, Cheddar Cheese,Preserves, Juice, and Beverages

All you can Eat  --  Your lunch/dinner meal includes clam fritters, baked Virginia Ham, potato salad, coleslaw, pickled beets, apple-sauce, green-beans, hot corn pudding, Chesapeake Bay Crab Cakes, home-made rolls and fresh daily baked butter pound cake.                           Return to Top

Hilda Crockett's Chesapeake House Bed and Breakfast is now open.  Decorative eclectic collection of antiques and collectibles compliment each room at this Tangier Island Bed and Breakfast. Accommodation and Lodging Rate - $100 Single, $120 Double   -   Additional Persons: Depends on Age, Ask when making reservations.  Accommodations included Breakfast and Lunch or Dinner per person.
